One Fine Day – Braemar
The second year of “One Fine Day” music festival will take place in the spectacular setting of St Margaret’s in the Highland village of Braemar. The building is a grade A listed 19th-century church designed by Sir John Ninian Comper, and is currently being redeveloped into a performance and arts venue by the St. Margaret’s Trust. Graham and Ruth will curate and perform in a wonderful day of concerts involving the Sacconi Quartet, local young musicians and saxophonist Simon Haram. Music by Arvo Part, Philip Glass, Graham Fitkin, Gian Carlo Menotti and Pete Stollery.
The event is generously supported by Iwan and Manuela Wirth, local residents and owners of The Fife Arms hotel.
